Job Details We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced organization with a culture focused on innovation, efficiency, and excellence. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, with a primary focus on account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role is a permanent position and requires a candidate with a strong background in these areas. Responsibilities Preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, ledgers, and accounts, and preparing monthly close procedures. Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses. Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks. Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions. Working closely with the finance team to achieve financial objectives. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Assisting in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices. Preparing financial statements and producing budget according to schedule. Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Supporting month-end and year-end close process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting with a strong understanding of account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Familiarity with financial accounting statements. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
